Our Approach

Research. Provenance. Context.

Every catalogue entry is approached as both a collectible object and a historical source.

Research, provenance and accurate description remain central to Beaumont's work.

Understanding where material comes from and the story it carries allows collectors to better appreciate both significance and value.

Buying & Policies

Buying from Beaumont Archives

Beaumont Archives operates as an enquiry-led dealer in rare books, maps, archives, historical objects and reproduction prints.

Each item is described carefully, with attention given to condition, edition, completeness, provenance where known, and any notable defects. Buyers are encouraged to review descriptions and photographs closely before purchase, especially where antiquarian or archive material shows age-related wear.

Shipping is calculated individually and confirmed before purchase, based on the item's size, weight, destination and insurance requirements. International shipping may be available by request.

Returns may be accepted within 14 days of receipt, provided the item is returned in the same condition as supplied. Buyers should contact Beaumont Archives before returning any item.

Reproduction prints are sold as modern reproductions and not as original maps or documents. This will be clearly stated in the relevant catalogue description.

Material Sourcing
